Giving is an Act of Worship
Giving is worshipful obedience to God the Father, who owns all things and graciously provides all that we have (1 Chron. 29:14; Jas. 1:17). As disciples of Jesus Christ, we give because He is our true treasure, and our generosity reflects the infinite worth of His redeeming work accomplished through His death, burial, and resurrection (Mark 10:17–31; 2 Cor. 8:9). By the power and leading of the Holy Spirit, we joyfully steward our resources as an act of faith, gratitude, and devotion (Rom. 8:14; Gal. 5:22–23).
Every gift given to Grace Church of Ovilla helps support the ministry of the gospel, the discipleship of believers, the care of our church family, outreach to our community, and the advancement of Christ’s kingdom here and around the world (Matt. 28:18–20; Acts 2:42–47).
